Family Owned & Operated

We are a small family owned and operated regenerative farm in Southeast Idaho. Almus, in Latin, means "to nourish" or "nourishing". This is our mission at Almus Farms. To nourish your body through nutrient dense and vitamin rich natural foods, grown and made proudly on our family farm.

We provide our customers access to foods like raw dairy, pasture raised meats, baked goods, farm fresh eggs, dry goods, sauces, condiments, etc. Explore our site, come visit us or send us a question.

Honoring Traditions

We prepare foods by honoring the old ways. We traditionally preserve foods through fermentation, pickling, dehydration and canning are our specialties. As members of the Weston A Price Foundation, we believe in promoting traditional diets and nourishing foods similar to the way our ancestors fed their families.

The research and data is clear. Those who stick to their cultural and traditional diet and nutrition and eat less sugary, processed, manufactured products tend to live longer, healthier and happier lives.

At Almus Farms, this is what we try to do. Our kitchen brings you the same types of foods and products that grandma would have made for her family prior to industrialization. The more natural and minimal the ingredients, the better!
